However the actor had paid tribute to Ash in one of his film being cross-dressed in her style and performing on her hit numbers from Devdas and Taal. According to sources the sequence has become much popular in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu that every time it causes audiences to clap and whistle.
Meanwhile, Vikram also get a chance to act with his favorite star in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil version of Raavana. For Hindi version of the film, Ash is paired with hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
