Seeing Aamir, Kiran Rao jumped in joy

It was Aamir Khan’s childhood dream to beat the drums and he converted his dream into reality by beating the drums during the music launch of his forthcoming film, ‘Peepli Live’. Seeing Aamir Khan beating the drums, his wife Kiran Rao jumped in rejoice. She was seen clapping, jumping up and down and swaying. She was amused to see Aamir Khan beating the drums.

“It was my childhood dream to perform alongside one of those long-haired rockstars and play some instrument. I finally got an opportunity. I thank, Indian Ocean for completing my childhood fantasy,” Aamir said.

Aamir played the drums when the drummer of the Indian Ocean band was performing on their two songs and asked Aamir to join them. The actor was more than happy to do something new. “I am bored of playing drums and I want someone to play drums for us I want Aamir Khan to come and play the drums,” Amit, the drummer said.

When Aamir took the stage to entertain the audience, his wife Kiran was amused to see Mr. Perfectionist turned drummer.

‘newb4u.com’ comes from the Aamir Khan’s production house and is directed by Anusha Rizvi. It tells the story of farmer suicides. The film is slated for August 13 release.
