Preity Zinta born on 31 January 1975 in Shimla is a non-filmi family. Her father Durganand Zinta was the Indian Army and the mother of Nilprabha. Deepankar is her older brother of the Indian Army and a younger brother Manish lives in California. Zinta's Parents came acrossed accident that killed her father while her mother with severe injuries. Zinta spent early years at the Jesus and Mary boarding school in Shimla. She studied English St.Bede's College in Shimla, after which she took a degree in criminal psychology.
